Crew and Transport Guide
Self Collection – Warehouse Opening Times
● Monday to Friday: 10 AM – 4 PM
● Weekends: Allocated hour required (£50)
Please ensure items are collected in an appropriately sized vehicle. Inappropriate vehicles may be refused. Damages caused during transport will incur charges.
Collection Options
Kerbside – No crew provided. The client must meet the driver onsite and assist with unloading.
Standard Plus – Crew: 2 hours onsite, they will unload the van and deliver items to the desired room.
Premium – Crew: 3 hours onsite, they will unload the van, deliver items to the desired room, install, and dismantle as needed.
Allocated Hour – If you require a specific time – We will aim to arrive within the hour of booking (e.g., 9-10 AM).
Booking Changes may incur an admin fee and must be approved by the admin team.
Transport Waiting Time – 30 minutes free. Additional time will be charged at £20 per 15 minutes.
Delivery Service timings
Monday to Friday
● AM Delivery: 8 AM – 1 PM
● PM Delivery: 1 PM – 6 PM
● Out of Hours (6 PM – 8 AM): Allocated hour required (£50)
Weekend
● AM Delivery: 8 AM – 1 PM
● PM Delivery: 1 PM – 6 PM
● Weekend Fee: Additional £75 charge applies.
Parking
● The client is responsible for providing adequate parking for the duration of delivery and collection. Failure to do so may result in refusal of delivery or collection, with no refunds issued. Any parking fines or additional costs incurred by Hire It due to inadequate parking will be charged to the client, along with a £25 admin fee, which will be deducted from the refundable deposit.
Item Handling and Storage
● Goods should be stored correctly to avoid damage in secure, dry conditions.
● Items do not need to be wrapped for collection.
● Goods should be prepared for collection as they were delivered—dismantled and stacked together near the parking area. Additional fees may apply if furniture is scattered around the venue.
● It is the client’s responsibility to ensure an authorized representative is present for both delivery and collection.
● For crew onsite for more than 4 hours, light refreshments and beverages must be provided.
● We cannot be held responsible for any delays that may occur.
