WTF Services
Delivery Designed Around the Event
At Hire It, logistics are not treated as an add on.
They are part of the experience.
WTF is our structured service model, created to ensure every project is executed with clarity, consistency, and precision from warehouse to final collection.
Every service level is determined by the operational requirements of the project itself, including the furniture selected, the installation complexity, the handling requirements, and the level of execution expected on site.
No generic delivery structures.
No fragmented responsibility.
No compromise on presentation.
WTF DIY
Self Collection Service
DIY is designed for experienced trade, production, and industry clients managing their own transport and on-site logistics.
This service removes all Hire It delivery, transport, and on-site crew responsibility, while still maintaining the standards required to protect furniture quality and warehouse control.
Furniture is professionally prepared, wrapped, checked, and released from our warehouse ready for collection.
Included Within DIY
- Furniture preparation and wrapping
- Warehouse-side handling
- Collection and return processing
- Controlled inventory check-in and inspection
Client Responsibilities
- Suitable vehicle provision
- Furniture protection during transit
- Loading and unloading
- Transport and on-site handling
- Return within agreed timings
Important Clarifications
Responsibility transfers at warehouse handover.
No Hire It vehicles, delivery crew, or on-site handling are included within this structure.
DIY is not a reduced version of delivery.
It is a controlled trade service designed for clients operating their own logistics infrastructure.
Where additional handling, timing deviations, or operational changes occur, WTF Flex applies.
WTF Signature Service
Our Default Service Standard
Signature Service is the foundation of how Hire It operates and the standard applied to the majority of our projects.
Designed for seamless execution, Signature integrates transport, professional crew, collection, and logistical coordination into one structured service model.
Every project is individually assessed to determine the appropriate level of crew, vehicle allocation, handling requirements, and operational support required for the furniture specified.
Included Within Signature
- Professional delivery and collection
- Experienced event crew
- Delivery to agreed location on site
- Logistics planning and coordination
- Controlled collection and return handling
Transport, crew, and logistical support are seamlessly integrated into each project and scale according to the operational requirements of the installation itself.
This ensures every project is supported with the appropriate level of care, precision, and logistical coordination required to deliver the event properly.
Operational Clarity
Signature is designed around standard project execution.
Furniture is delivered to the agreed location on site, however detailed installation, styling, precision placement, or extended setup support are not included within the standard service allowance.
Where projects require enhanced handling, specialist setup, installation support, extended on-site time, or elevated execution standards, WTF Elite or WTF Flex applies.
WTF D2F
Controlled Delivery Framework
D2F is a streamlined operational model designed for projects where outbound installation requirements are lighter, while controlled collection and furniture protection remain essential.
This structure allows projects to run efficiently while ensuring furniture quality, presentation standards, and execution remain consistently elevated throughout delivery and collection.
Included Within D2F
- Delivery to site
- Professional collection by Hire It
- Controlled recovery and return handling
- Operational coordination and scheduling
D2F is not a reduced service.
It is a strategically structured delivery model.
WTF Elite
White Glove Installation & Elevated Execution
Elite represents our highest level of operational support.
This service is applied where the furniture itself, the installation requirements, or the execution standard demands a more involved level of handling, setup, coordination, or on-site support.
Certain products naturally fall within Elite due to the installation complexity involved.
For example, modular lounge systems such as Osaka require a significantly more detailed setup process than standard furniture delivery and therefore operate within the Elite structure.
Elite Includes
- Increased crew allocation
- Extended on-site support
- White glove handling
- Precision setup and placement
- Elevated installation coordination
- Enhanced execution management
Typically Applied To
- Modular installations
- Complex lounge systems
- High-touch event environments
- Editorial layouts
- Multi-layered venue builds
- Furniture requiring detailed assembly or placement
Elite is applied when execution itself becomes part of the outcome.
WTF Flex
Structured Operational Add Ons
WTF Flex applies when a project moves beyond standard operational parameters.
Rather than inflating every quotation to absorb unknown variables, Flex allows additional operational requirements to be applied transparently and intentionally.
Examples Include
- Extended on-site time
- Overnight or weekend working
- Restricted access
- Additional crew allocation
- Regional or national routing
- Express turnaround
- Last-minute operational revisions
Flex protects service quality while maintaining operational clarity across every stage of delivery and collection.
Minimums & Operational Standards
To maintain service consistency and execution quality:
- Minimum project value: £1,000 ex VAT
- Minimum order fees apply to approved exceptions
- Additional operational requirements are managed via WTF Flex
- Waiting time, venue delays, restricted access, and incidentals may be reconciled post-event
The WTF Principle
Every Hire It project is structured around one principle:
The operational model should reflect the furniture, the environment, and the level of execution required to deliver it properly.
From transport and crew allocation through to final collection, every element is designed to deliver consistency, presentation, and control at scale.
